Sarah A. Isaacson has a BA degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing. In 2012, her spec script for the hit TV series “Shameless” made the top 5th percentile of the Warner Brothers Television Writers’ Workshop. She has written for a variety of newspapers, covering both human interest and breaking news stories. She published a semi-autobiographical short story called “Melanie” in Touchstones Literary Journal, earning second place. She has worked in the entertainment industry in Hollywood, CA, from personal assistant to producer, and as a content editor at McMurry/TMG where she wrote, directed, and produced written and video content for University Hospitals. She currently teaches authors and screenwriters how to pitch their work to agents and producers.

She likes to mouth-kiss her two (very clean) cats, Max and Lola, cook healthy recipes she finds while stalking middle-aged women on pinterest, and go to comedy clubs in her spare time. She avidly works out and does martial arts in her head.
